Read all frequently asked questionsHow much is the down payment?
Lakeview’s standard proposal uses a 50% deposit due upon acceptance, with the remaining 50% due at substantial completion under the proposal terms. The payment schedule in your signed proposal applies to your project; any different arrangement must be documented there.
How long will construction take?
The time depends on the scope, room size, materials, and any plumbing or electrical work. We discuss an estimated construction duration for your specific project. Planning and material lead times are separate from time spent working in your home.
What should I expect during a remodel?
Typical phases include site protection and preparation, demolition where needed, rough work and inspections, installation, finishes, and cleanup. Expect some noise, dust, workers coming and going, and temporary limits on access to the work area. We discuss the project sequence and keep you informed as work progresses.
What if I want to change something after signing?
Contact Charles before the revised work begins. Changes to the scope, materials, price, payment terms, or schedule are documented in a written change order signed by you and Lakeview. The change order explains the cost and timing impact. Text messages or jobsite discussions alone do not replace a signed change order.
